DOLK. (Rua da Atalaia, 135)

The monkey with the banana is an icon for DOLK. This work was born in the streets and grew until reaching the interior of renowned art galleries. The technique used is stencil on paper.
DOLK is an artist from Bergen (Norway).
Dolk was, in the beginning of his career, considered a pseudonym of Bansky, but his work has developed remarkably since its initial period, and today he is one of the most internationally reputed street artists.
This artist influenced this growing movement, from which artists like MIR and Pobel can be singled out, and both of them are present in the streets of Lisbon and on the Street Museu Pampero Fundación. His creativity is also amply illustrated with an artistic residency on NUART festival in Stavanger (Norway), a must in urban art in Europe.
