Rufia. (Rua do Norte, 105)

This piece is from Rufia, a street artist since 1981.
This Portuguese artist divides himself between many disciplines such as murals, stencils, canvases, stickers, sculptures, etc.
His scene is related to street subcultures, social criticism and politics. Some paintings are based on lyrics of underground songs. The artist surprises us not only with the quality of his work, but also with his philosophy, which proclaims something like this: ¨THE STREETS ARE MY GALLERY SO THAT EVERYBODY MAY SEE MY SCENES: WHILE THERE IS PAINT IN MY CAN I WILL ALWAYS BE STIRRING.¨ To see more about Rufia go to: http://www.fotolog.com/cao_das_botas/
